You will assist the Reservations Manager in overseeing a team of reservation agents, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring that reservations are accurately recorded and efficiently processed. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be vital in providing outstanding customer service to both guests and internal stakeholders.This is a permanent, full-time role of 40 hours per week, based in Auckland Central CBD, and the annual salary is $67,000.ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient operation of the central reservations department by overseeing and assisting team membersHandle guest inquiries and provide information on availability, rates, and packagesProcess reservations accurately and in a timely manner, utilizing the property management systemMonitor reservation trends and rates to maximize occupancy and revenueAssist in recruitment, training, and mentoring reservation agents to ensure exceptional customer serviceManage, motivate, and develop CRO team membersAddress and resolve guest complaints or issues related to reservationsPlan and implement after-sales services to follow up on customer satisfactionCreate and maintain reports on reservation metrics, including occupancy and cancellation ratesContinuous development and review of policies and procedures concerning our customers and services providedRequirementsCandidates must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for the roleNZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed aboveStrong knowledge of reservation systems and property management systemsExceptional organizational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of inquiriesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant softwareBenefitsOur values are based on caring, working together, and doing the right thing.
