Cellar Hand - Fixed-Term

We are seeking an experienced, skilled and passionate Cellar Hand to join our team until end of June 2025!We have an opportunity for an experienced and skilled Cellar Hand to join our winemaking team in Blenheim, Marlborough on a fixed-term basis until end of June 2025.You will gain comprehensive world-standard experience and widen your network of winemaking friends.Fixed-Term Cellar Hand RoleYou will use your outstanding work ethic to perform diverse responsibilities across: Grape receival, processing and pressing Racking and tank transfers Filtration Red and white fermentation management Barrel management Your hours of work will be a minimum of 30 hours per week.During the Vintage period (approx.February to April), most parts of the Company's operation operate 24 hours a day, seven days per week, Monday to Sunday (inclusive).For up to 8 weeks you will be on rostered work shifts up to 12 hours in length, up to 6 days per week.You will be given one day off in a 7 day period.Requirements At least 4 vintage experiences as a Cellar Hand performing grape receiving, racking, transfer and barrel work Solid English language skills Refined & efficient work style and enthusiastic attitude Resilience and a good sense of humor Previous forklift, confined space and health & safety training is desirable Benefits You will receive an hourly rate between $28–$32, staff discount at our cellar door, regular breaks, training and a catered meal for vintage shifts of more than 10 hours.
