We are seeking a Cellar Door Manager to join our friendly team in the gorgeous Gibbston wine region of Central Otago.
Rockburn Wines are sourced from 100% estate grown Central Otago vines, from a combined 42 hectares of vineyards covering two sub-regions (Gibbston & Parkburn / Pisa), this tonnage supplies Rockburn's exclusive 600-tonne winery in the foothills of Cromwell.

Cellar Door Sales Manager Role: Are you passionate about wine and enjoy having a good conversation with customers? If you're friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and autonomous, Rockburn Wines needs you! We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual to manage our Cellar Door and help us continue to showcase some of Central Otago's finest and most awarded wines.
As a Cellar Door Sales Manager, you'll be pouring award-winning Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and our famous Stolen Kiss Rosé, all sourced from our 100% estate-grown vineyards in Central Otago.
The Role: - Join the management team Rockburn.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our Cellar Door (+H&S), ensuring customers receive top-tier service.
- Oversee retail and trade sales, ensuring targets are met.
- Host VIPs and special guests, providing a memorable experience.
- Hire, train, and supervise the Cellar Door team.
- Manage sales channels including website orders, VIP club, and B2C databases.
- Collaborate with the General Manager / Marketing team to promote Rockburn wines.
- Driving force behind future Cellar Door development
What We're Looking For: - Experience in wine, hospitality, or another Cellar Door is ideal but not essential – for the right candidate we'll teach you everything you need to know in a fun, supportive environment.
- A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine love for wine.
- A Duty Manager Certificate is preferred, but for the right candidate, we'll pay for your training and application.
- Full NZ Drivers licence.
- NZ Working Visa.
