Alongside our wine experiences, we have an outdoor bar and dining area, which is situated just across from Fritzy the food trailer, as well as three luxury guest cottage accommodations.The RoleWe're seeking a customer-focused Hospitality Manager to lead all aspects of our front-of-house operations. This dynamic role is perfect for an energetic hospitality professional with a passion for wine, food, and guest experiences. You will oversee our cellar door, food service, and overall guest hospitality, while maintaining high standards of service across all touchpoints.From hosting wine tastings and winery tours, to managing the accommodation operations, this is a hands-on role that wears many hats, and where leadership and service excellence go hand in hand. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and motivated team environment, whilst ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience. You'll have the autonomy to make this role your own and develop the Hospitality department as we continue to grow.Key Responsibilities:Lead and inspire the front-of-house team, managing daily operations with a focus on customer satisfaction.Host wine tastings and tours, with rostered hours on the floor to ensure high standards of service.Engage in wine and food service operations, ensuring excellence at all levels, including meeting our local supporters and being the face of Monte Christo hospitality.Manage guest accommodation operations to provide a seamless and memorable experience.Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Consumer Sales to develop point-of-sale materials and sales campaigns.Handle staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and roster management.Manage stock, supplies, and sales reporting, ensuring operational efficiency.Support event planning and execution both on-site and occasionally at off-site tastings and events.Maintain strong communication with guests, staff, and management, both in person and in writing.Ensure compliance with all legal and operational standards.Skills & Experience Desired:Proven leadership experience in hospitality, with a strong customer service focus.A passion for wine, food service, and delivering exceptional experiences.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.Proficiency in POS systems, CRM software, and administrative tasks, such as stock and data management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Event planning and management experience is an advantage.A current Duty Manager's Certificate or the ability and desire to obtain one, is essential.We are keen to employ ambitious people.
