Cellar Door Assistant Manager

This position is based at The Rockburn Stables, situated next to the Gibbston Tavern at 8 Coal Pit Road, Gibbston. If you're a sociable, outgoing, and reliable individual who enjoys engaging in conversations about wine or simply chatting with customers, we want to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will involve serving some of Central Otago's finest and most acclaimed wines, including our diverse selection of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and our renowned Stolen Kiss Rosé.
While prior experience in the wine industry, hospitality, or a similar cellar door setting is beneficial, it's not mandatory. We are committed to providing comprehensive training in a enjoyable and supportive environment.
Although a Duty Manager Certificate is preferable, for the right candidate, we are willing to cover the cost of your Duty Manager training and application. You can anticipate a competitive salary/package, which includes a daily sales incentive and an allowance for new release wines.
The work schedule is five days a week from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with a requirement to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
