Auckland Council's Building Consents department has an exciting opportunity for a Code Compliance Certificate Coordinator within our dedicated Code Compliance team based at our Manukau Hub. This key role offers the chance to play a vital part in the Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) process, ensuring high standards of customer service while maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks.You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating the CCC process, managing customer queries, and supporting the wider team to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. With your support, we can continue to maintain high standards and contribute to the city's growth and safety.Day-to-day you could expect to work on:Providing guidance and support to the Field Surveying unit and team members.Supporting key regulatory processes and ensuring they are carried out accurately, within statutory timeframes and in line with Auckland Council policies.Managing customer queries, complaints, phone calls, and correspondence, ensuring quality service and information.Handling conflicting priorities and customer demands while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service.Maintaining well-organised CCC files and ensuring all information is captured and managed effectively.This role requires experience in similar regulatory or customer-focused roles, with a sound understanding of local government legislation, the NZ Building Code, and Code Compliance Certificate requirements. You will be proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
