Role description: The Catering Coordinator will assume responsibility for orchestrating daily catering orders, driving sales, and providing essential support to the office team. This role holds significance as the primary point of contact for customers, necessitating exemplary service delivery and exceptional interpersonal skills. Responsibilities will include: Assessing customer requirements to determine the optimal catering solution within specified briefs and budgets. Generating and dispatching quotes and menus in response to customer inquiries. Generating comprehensive job sheets for daily catering operations, ensuring accuracy and currency of packing slips, kitchen sheets, and production grids. Cultivating and nurturing existing client relationships while forging connections for new business opportunities. Methodically organizing incoming emails and orders. Handling incoming calls to the office line. Offering assistance to various departments such as functions, events, operations, accounts, and the kitchen team as needed. This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: Administrative experience in customer service or sales. Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, and CRM systems. Sales-driven mindset with excellent communication skills. Numerical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. Passion for quality cuisine and understanding of the hospitality industry. Possession of a valid driver's license. Desirable: Duty Manager Certificate.
