The opportunity:
We are looking for a Catering Coordinator to provide quality catering services to guests and staff.
This role works closely with other Catering staff, Reception, Operations Manager and other general staff, including external business clients.
Day to day your role will include the following:
General kitchen duties ensure dishes are washed in a timely manner, kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Assist the chefs in the preparation of cooking of food, as required.
Floor kitchen duties – delivering fruit, milk to staff floors, keeping staff kitchens clean and tidy.
Stock levels – make sure appropriate stock levels of food and drink are maintained and assist with ordering stock from suppliers.
Food and Beverage support – ensure all food items are delivered to the café and events, assist with delivering drinks to meeting rooms as required.
Health and Safety – to maintain a high standard of hygiene, food delivery and discipline in the kitchen.
Meeting room set up – set up for all meetings, breakfast, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas
What you'll bring to our team:
Flexibility in working hours - given the nature of the role, you may need to start early and work late where required
An interest in food and food hygiene
Good interpersonal skills
