Cleaning, Catering & Laundry (CC&L) Manager
Te Mahi/About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cleaning, Catering & Laundry (CC&L) Manager to lead a pivotal transition from externally contracted services to in-house management. This role is crucial in ensuring that high-quality cleaning, catering, and laundry services are provided across our facilities, enhancing the experience of our patients and residents while adhering to budgetary and compliance standards.
This is a fixed term (9-months) full time position, based in Merivale, Christchurch. Hours will be 40 per week, to be normally worked within the service hours of 6am and 5pm Monday - Friday. Due to the project work associated with this transition, we are seeking someone to start from the first week in November.

The successful applicant will have:
A minimum of 3 years management experience in food/catering services.
A current NZ Food Safety Certificate or relevant qualifications preferred.
Proven leadership and project management skills.
Strong financial and business acumen with a focus on cost control.
Expertise in stock management and health & safety practices.
Good energy and a drive to see things through to completion.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge/ commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Some experience in the health sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
