We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work at The Warehouse Northern Island Distribution Centre .
This Fixed Term opportunity starts from 19th of November 2024 and will end on 19th of November 2025 . After the end of the fixed term, there will be plenty of opportunities to join Compass Group within one of our many other sites. This role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week. Hours of work are rostered within 7 days with a 30-minute break each day.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Delivering an upbeat and professional customer service, providing a warm, friendly, and welcoming ambiance for our customers.
Basic food preparation and presentation, stock control, cash handling, and assisting in general kitchen duties.
Assisting and maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties.
Demonstrating a hard-working, friendly, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
Having at least 1 year of experience in the food industry and holding a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or being willing to train for one.
Exhibiting superior customer service skills and the ability to work confidently both individually and with a team.
Demonstrating a passion for great food, customer service, and quality!
