Our specialist services also extend to cellular therapies and tissue banking, such as the provision of stem cell products, along with cardiovascular, skin and bone allografts.

About the role This newly created role is crucial in ensuring the adequate supply of medicines used to treat immune-deficient patients in New Zealand.
New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) depends on the generosity of the people of New Zealand to donate plasma for these medicines, making it essential to ensure that NZBS collects the necessary amount of plasma to meet increasing demand.
This role will provide collection requirements based on market demand, ensuring that NZBS can effectively plan and secure the plasma needed to support patients across the country.
The role will also be responsible for planning the supply chain for all plasma-derived products to reliably and efficiently meet New Zealand's healthcare requirements.
The position will require close collaboration across all NZBS departments, as well as with suppliers responsible for manufacturing fractionated products.
The individual in this role will play a key part in ensuring the well-being of patients across New Zealand.
Salary starting from $85,777 - $100,914 depending on skills and experience.
About you * 3 to 5 years' experience in supply planning or category management * A relevant formal qualification is preferred but not essential * Experience in using data for recognising trends, forecasting supply needs, optimising delivery and identifying areas for improvement.
* Skilled in identifying potential supply issues and planning for mitigations * Excellent skills in analysis and processing of large datasets, including Excel modelling * Strong attention to detail, and high accuracy * Strong communication skills paired with the ability to align with internal and external parties.
