We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Manager to join our team of APC Technical Solutions experts at NZ Safety Blackwoods. Located in Auckland, this role's core responsibility is supplier & product management of our Technical Categories (Gas Detection, Hose & Fittings, Flow Control). We are looking for a team player who is willing to drive the product and business planning processes for cross-functional teams, as well as analyse customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships.

Key ResponsibilitiesAppraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.Develop, implement, and maintain product timelines across multiple departments.Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.Effectively manage our technical products existing range and provide reporting to track the performance of core range against key measurements.Manage supplier relationships within the category.Ensure that all teams are aligned with the product's goals and work collaboratively to develop and implement & move the product.Develop and maintain pricing strategies that maximize the opportunity for category growth through research on market pricing.Coordinate and align the category strategy with the marketing plan for each channel.Ensure the WIS Sustainability message is supported by meeting the annual Sustainability objectives and implementing projects as agreed.Skills and Experience:Previous product management, Technical Engineering Sales, and/or Business Development experience.Experience with relevant PC Software incl. Microsoft suite, Web software.Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques.Price modelling and forecasting skills.Proven track record in building and maintaining business relationships.Financial and Data analysis skills.A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.Resourceful, independent and able to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion.Able to work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.About Us:NZ Safety Blackwoods is the country's leading supplier of industrial products, personal protective equipment, packaging, and work wear, as well as industry-specific training, testing, and consulting services.
