A global industry leader is seeking a passionate and strategic Category Development Executive to join their Auckland Head Office team. Key Account Management:Develop and manage distribution channel plans, strategies, and trading terms.Build sustainable and profitable relationships with key accounts.Drive distribution strategies to achieve commercial benefits.Collaborate with internal teams to establish the company as a thought leader in category development.Support the sales team with strategic insights and achieve company targets. Business Critical Projects:Lead and contribute to end-to-end project management.Ensure cross-functional alignment and effective communication.Define critical timelines and manage project schedules.Drive innovation and creativity within the team. Ok, what else?Develop trading terms agreements with key accounts.Identify gaps and opportunities in account distribution plans.Ensure activation of channel and brand plans within accounts.Prepare and present distribution business reviews to external stakeholders.Drive new business development opportunities in distribution and trade marketing. Sounds great, what experience do I need to have?4+ years in account/category management or equivalent in an FMCG environment.2+ years in a senior account management role with an FMCG company.Proven leadership experience and a strong commercial acumen.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
