This role will be responsible for the implementation of shopper and channel activation plans across the Grocery, P&C, and Route channels, to ensure achievement of the business plan. This position is an integral part of the Sales and Marketing teams working between both functions to ensure a high standard of execution against the category, channel, and brand strategies. This role is tasked with driving Tip Top's business and the ice cream category through effective engagement and conversion of shoppers at the point of purchase (POP). This is through the flawless amplification and execution of Brand Marketing plans as well as development of retailer/channel specific co-marketing initiatives, and analyze and interpret consumer, industry, and sales data into actionable insights.Key responsibilities include:Creating and activating plans to realize value through their route to market, by providing channel tailored support materials (POS, promotions, samples).Managing the implementation of all brand activations, including coordination delivery of Tip Top assets as agreed.Communicating activation plans to the Territory Owner network and Grocery Field Team/Account Managers via regular email communications and at key internal meetings.Responsibility for production and distribution of all relevant activation collateral to the Territory Owner network and Grocery Field Team.Working with marketing and sales to add activation/channel insights into NPD planning.Maintaining an integrated relationship with the full sales and marketing teams and external suppliers.Influencing cross-functionally to ensure that activations, POS is consistent with brand positioning.Managing supplier base for cost savings and quality of materials, including regular review meetings.Continual evaluation and communication of market trends and share performance to key stakeholders.Delivering category insights and weekly/monthly reports to help internal business optimize access sales potentials, market trends, opportunities, and threats.Develop Planograms in delivering best in class Category Management recommendations.End to end management shopper activation and category projects inclusive of budget management.What you'll bring and developThe person we are looking for will be passionate about helping to grow our brands and improving the presence of Tip Top products across our various selling channels.To be successful in this role you will have:Proven experience in Marketing, Category/Trade marketing, Field or Account Management.Creative thinker with a flair for innovation and proven problem-solving skills and strong Excel skills.Ability to analyze large volumes of data efficiently and prepare reports in a timely manner.Strong event and project management skills, excellent organization and analytical skills.A tertiary qualification in marketing or a related field.Ability to be flexible and adaptable with strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team.Our storyTip Top has been part of New Zealanders' lives for 80 years and we are proud to still be making the delicious ice cream products that every New Zealander loves.
