Catch-A-Fish Guide

High Country Salmon – Timaru, South Island
High Country Salmon is a boutique, family-owned salmon farm situated 3km south of Twizel in the beautiful Mackenzie Region. We do everything onsite, ensuring the shortest supply chain possible, and the freshest salmon available. This is initially a part-time position for 3 days/week (Friday - Sunday) with the option for additional hours from mid-December.
Qualifications & Experience
Needs to have fishing experience. Previous experience in customer service preferred.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Welcoming Catch-A-Fish customers and giving a safety briefing.
Assessing skill level and choosing appropriate equipment.
Guiding the Catch-A-Fish Experience.
Providing customers with information on freshwater salmon farming.
Gilling & gutting salmon for the customers; filleting if up to standard (training will be given).
Keeping the area tidy and free from hazards.
Doing odd jobs when you don't have customers.
Work Rights
NZ citizen or resident, or a valid work visa. Must be able to work for a minimum of 3 months, preferably longer.
