About the Role
Support residents to lead engaging and fulfilling lives.
Follow care plans that enable residents in their health and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with the Rehabilitation Team to support residents to achieve lifestyle goals and community connections.
Continue to achieve NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate levels with support of your manager and Workforce Development team.
About You
The ideal person for our team is interested in supporting people and has good communication skills. Other skills and experience that are highly preferred are:
Caregiving experience (2+ years preferable).
Existing Work Visa with 2 New Zealand work referees.
Current First Aid Qualification.
New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing at any level.
Experience supporting people living with conditions like Huntington's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, and people living with brain injuries.
Willing to do any shifts, particularly weekends (AM, PM, N) and weekdays (PM, N).
