We have an opportunity for a Security Officer to join our Armourguard team in Invercargill.
About the role: As a crucial guardian of public safety, you will play a vital role in providing essential security services, ensuring the security of infrastructure, prevention of trespassing, vandalism among other offences that may occur on the site.
Most of all, for this role, you must have strong customer service communication skills and be physically fit as there is an innumerable amount of walking involved.
Being deployed from site to site during your shift may happen, so a reliable vehicle is needed.

As a minimum these will include: Driver Licence Credit Check Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks Immigration Live in the Invercargill region Hold current Certificate of Approval (COA) preferred, or ability to obtain a COA Articulate and a comprehensive understanding of the written and spoken English language Strong cultural awareness and understanding Will follow clear instructions without fail Our Ideal Candidate: Must be flexible with shifts in recognition of Armourguard being a 24/7 business Good calming can-do attitude with a proactive approach You are an individual who has strong self-awareness & influential presence in situations Proven experience having worked under pressure Display a high level of professionalism and personal presentation You have proven experience resolving a range of situations, and people from adults to youth.
