Exciting times ahead! Our stunning new Care Home, based in the heart of Kerikeri, is opening in mid-2024. With an already established resort-style village featuring spectacular subtropical gardens, come and join our team in Northland! We are now very excited and are seeking 'Expressions of Interest' from experienced Registered Nurses to provide top-quality care to our residents, making them feel safe, honored, and comfortable.
There will be a range of shifts available, and you will be working in a brand-new 60-bed state-of-the-art care home with all the amenities provided to deliver outstanding care to our residents.
About the Role We're looking for casual Registered Nurses to join our awesome teams supporting our clinical teams in our Care Homes.

These roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period, need extra income without committing to permanent hours, or want to explore a different role while earning and learning! This could be great for someone located in or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.
What You Will Be Doing: Clinical assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
Work collaboratively with other team members.
Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
Provide compassionate and high-level care.
About You As a casual Registered Nurse, you will be open to flexible shifts based on your availability. You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering outstanding service to our residents and have experience in similar roles. Other qualifications and attributes our Registered Nurses possess include:
Current APC and first aid certificate.
InterRai training is highly desirable.
Competence with medication management and administration techniques.
Up-to-date knowledge of wound care management.
Care, empathy, and compassion for the elderly.
Ability to work collaboratively within a Team Nursing environment.
