The Waitaha and Te Taio Poutini Maternity System has a dynamic, dedicated and specialised teamof health professionals working within both our purpose built, secondary/tertiarymaternity facilities and our Midwifery Led Community Birthing Units.
Whether youare new in your midwifery career or have lots of experience then we would loveto speak with you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a brand-newmaternity unit that is midwifery led so we are looking for enthusiasticmidwives to be part of this early journey of Kurawaka: Waipapa.
Recent clinicalexperience regarding: planning, implementation and evaluation of care forwomen and babies especially those needing complex care.
Strong commitment tothe protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding.
Good communicator, withthe ability to make informed decisions that focus on providing qualitymaternity care for the women within our services.
Demonstrate the abilityto work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
Ability to beadaptable, flexible and solution focused.
Should have excellenttime management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Registered with theMidwifery Council of New Zealand with a current APC.
