Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board is essential
Current Annual Practicing Certificate is essential

Mo te tunga About the Role
The Physiotherapy team at Christchurch Hospital are looking for a Paediatric Physiotherapist with Neonatal experience to join the NICU team (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
You will facilitate neonatal development by providing recognised neonatal Physiotherapy assessment and treatment plans appropriate to the developmental needs of the baby.
You will work very closely across all disciplines of the neonatal team to facilitate patients' discharge and provide relevant education to patients, their families, and carers.
A thorough induction to the unit and support will be provided for the right candidate as are a number of professional development opportunities.
You will need to be flexible and adaptable with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across disciplines.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Undertaking expert assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referring to other services.
Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Paediatric experience;
Neonatal experience (desirable);
The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.
