Roll up, roll up we're looking for people like you to join us as we take our guests on one heck of a journey! Our Weta Cave is the first port of call for people who love cool stuff. And, as a purveyor of said cool stuff, you'll be responsible for making their experience a great one.
Here's the deal. As the awesomely approachable face of Weta Workshop, you'll be rubbing shoulders with not only the most passionate and dedicated fan base on the planet, but families, film fans, and people from all over the world. You'll be energetic and charismatic and have a love for creativity in all its forms.
We're looking for outgoing, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic crew members with great communication skills - and who have a passion for storytelling - to help us deliver great event experiences.
What you'll be doing: Bring our creative journey to life by delivering world-class, unforgettable guest experiencesTaking guests through immersive and creative experiencesBeing part of our retail team in the Weta Cave shopSelling and processing ticketsHelping to inspire our guests to start a collection of their own by sharing your enthusiasm, in-depth product knowledge, and sales focus, creating a retail experience like no otherWant to know more? What we're looking for in you? Previous host, retail/sales, guiding or guest service experienceA passion for movies, visual effects, graphics and/or novelsAn upbeat, enthusiastic outlook and commitment to excellent customer experienceHours: Opening hours are 8.00am to 6.00pm, 7 days a week so we're looking for people with good availability across the week and weekend.These are casual (on-call) roles, so there aren't any set shifts.

As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short video interviewTraining is fully paid - looking to start training in November.The hourly rate is $27.80/hour All successful applicants will be required to undergo a Ministry of Justice check.
