About the role
We're looking for casual gardening and maintenance staff to join our awesome teams supporting with the general day-to-day running of our modern Villages - ensuring they are maintained and appealing for our residents, guests, and staff. This is a great role offering variety in location and work as you keep our Villages well maintained and vibrant for our residents! This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is hands-on and a problem solver, loves the outdoors, enjoys physical work, and gets satisfaction from improving our living spaces for our residents.
As these are casual employment opportunities, these roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period, want some extra money without the permanent hours, or want to have a go at a different role earning while you learn! This could be great for someone located or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.
Responsibilities: Ensuring gardens are lush and vibrant for all to enjoyAssist with the general upkeep of the grounds and facilitiesEnsures that all equipment is maintained and used appropriately in order to achieve maximum working life and high standards of safetyYou will provide general maintenance services to our residents in our VillageAssisting with the maintenance of a comprehensive range of village facilitiesRubbish removal and cleanlinessTaking responsibility in liaising with residents daily to understand and problem solve any general maintenance issues on siteAbout you
We are looking for team members with the right attitude, excellent communication skills, and who can work as part of a team to provide support in maintaining our village to a high standard. Some things that will support your application include:
Previous experience working as a general handyman or in property maintenance will be highly advantageous as well as any horticulture and/or gardeningReliable, super organised, and have good Time ManagementThis is a physical role and requires a good level of fitness (some heavy lifting involved)Confidence using hand, power tools, and operating maintenance machineryExcellent communication skills - written and verbalCustomer centric approach - driven to deliver outstanding service to our residentsThe successful candidate will need to be available from November 22nd for a period of 6-8 weeks.About us
