Casual Gallery Assistant

Details of the offer

We are seeking Casual Gallery Assistants to assist with the day-to-day running of our arts venues across the Manurewa/Papakura Local boards, facilitating high-quality programmes and exhibitions with a strong community focus.
A key component of this role is to provide outstanding customer service and to liaise with the general public, community organisations, artists, and contractors. You will be expected to help with operations of the venues, support exhibition installations and openings, and deliver engaging public programmes.

The role also requires confidence and experience in a front-line and coordination position of an arts and culture facility. Your organisational and administrative skills will impress!
The role calls for a positive outlook, excellent people skills, experience working with a wide range of people, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a 'can-do' attitude.
If you would like to contribute to your community by sharing your passion and encouraging access to arts and cultural experiences, and this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for, then this is the role for you. Apply now! Applications close: 5th of January, 2025
