The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting and working alongside the Oral Health / Dental Therapist to provide high-quality oral care to pre-school and primary school children.You will be exposed to all areas of community-based dentistry while interacting with children & their whanau from a variety of backgrounds. There will be an element of travel involved in this role, as you will be traveling around local schools to assist with dental care.You will be responsible for:Setting up and assisting our Dental therapist during procedures.Preparing x-rays for our patients.Cleaning & sterilising of instruments.Ensuring all booking and communications are completed in a timely manner.This is a casual position, so there are no set hours.
