Location - Te Nikau Hospital Dental Clinic, Greymouth; Dental Clinics / Mobile Units in the district.
Salary - From Salary starting from $72,074 - $86,719 (Based on the PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical collective agreement)
Essential - A Full NZ driver licence to drive a mobile screening van to local schools

This role is excellent for someone who is looking to develop their skills and grow their career in health care.
The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting and working alongside the Oral Health / Dental Therapist to provide high quality oral care to pre-school and primary school children.
You will be exposed to all areas of community-based dentistry whilst interacting with children & their whanau from a variety of backgrounds. There will be an element of travel involved in this role, as you will be traveling around local schools to assist with dental care.
You will be responsible for:
Setting up and assisting our Dental therapist during procedures
Preparing x-rays for our patients
Cleaning & sterilising of instruments
Ensuring all booking and communications are completed in a timely manner
This is a casual position so there are no set hours. Just as and when required to help cover sick and annual leave.
