We are looking for Customer Service Casuals to work for one of our great clients!
You must be currently living in NZ and hold valid NZ work rights.
About the role:
This position is fully remote - 100 percent WFH and you can be based anywhere in NZ. This is a truly casual role - no hours guaranteed.
Shifts available between 8.30am-9:30pm 365 days a year. Shifts range from 3 hours to full days. This is a casual role and will depend on requirements from the client (surges)
Since this position is fully remote - you will need a specific IT set up (checklist with compatible systems will be sent to you).
The start date is 18th April 2024 and the position is ongoing (contracts usually renew after 3 months). You must be available on this day to complete the onboarding and training with client.
Hourly rate: $24.30/hr + 8% holiday pay
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for answering phone calls and sometimes web chat enquiries from customers trying to purchase lotto tickets.
About you:
Successful candidate will need to have good customer service skills including good active listening, patience, and strong communication skills. You should pride yourself on your ability to demonstrate the best outcomes for customers.

Flexible availability- won't suit someone who can only work 1 day a week, ideally available Wednesday and Saturday draws. Latest shift start time is 5pm so people who can only start later than that won't work either.
Training schedule: Training will be online on 18th April 2024 (Thursday) and will be a full day (paid). -x1 Unpaid IT Set up Length of which can vary person to person but needs to be completed before the training day. Once you have been confirmed in the role, we will book in a time for you to meet with the IT support team remotely so they can assist you with set up, this needs to be completed within normal business working hours.
-x1 mandatory paid training day This can be done at their offices in Newmarket or you can attend virtually.
-x1 mandatory first shift between 8.30am-5pm on a week day (but not Wednesday). This is to make sure there is no IT issues and so that a team leader is available if they need additional help.
After training is complete, you must be able to commit to at least x1 4hr shifts a fortnight within the below hours: Mon- Sat: 8.30am - 8pm, Sun: 8.30am - 6.30pm. Any new temps must be able to commit to the training programme - most importantly the classroom training day & the first shift training day which will also be during the week in usual business working hours.
