Casual role available
Christchurch Health Campus boasts a variety of cafés catering to the needs of the thousands of patients, visitors and staff on campus daily. Each café has a different food mix, from value items through to a high street offer.
Our cooks are responsible for following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of while complying with Food Control Plan, Health New Zealand code of conduct and Health and Safety procedures.
A casual role has no guaranteed hours or days. In this role you will be covering sick (oncall) and annual leave. The cooks operate between 4:30am - 8:30pm Monday to Sunday.
Starting rate $25.50 per hour, based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible candidates who are able to bring their passion for food to our team. Adaptability is essential as the successful candidates will be required to work across multiple work areas on campus.
Due to the nature of casual work, successful candidates must be available to work across seven days and at short notice.
Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
