Are you looking to contribute to the community in a meaningful way? Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and help maintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment for our turoro (patients) and whanau.
You will be responsible for:
Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards
Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes
Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whanau
Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols
This casual role has no guaranteed hours or days. In this role you will be covering sick (oncall) and annual leave. Starting rate $23.75 per hour, based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for cleaning to our facilities. This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help make the Hospital a hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.

High level of patient confidentiality
Excellent customer service and time management skills
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
