We have an opportunity for a Casual Cash in Transit Security Officer to join our Armourguard team in Nelson.
About the Role:
We are looking for someone energetic and fit, with a proactive attitude, who is seeking casual work. As a Cash in Transit Security Officer, you will be part of a 2-man crew servicing commercial clients, major banks, and ATMs across the Nelson Region. It is important to understand that when your region or NZ is shut down, Cash Services remains open as this is an essential service for the banking industry and the public.

Mandatory Requirements:
Must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including Driver Licence, Credit, and Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks
Currently live in the Nelson region
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Hold a current full COA Certificate of Approval
Articulate with a comprehensive understanding of written and spoken English
Strong cultural awareness and understanding
Reliable & Trustworthy
Our Ideal Candidate:
Previous security experience preferred
Previous driving experience for a company
Possesses the right attitude
Proven experience in following procedures
Ability to write comprehensive incident reports
Experience meeting tight deadlines
Understanding of customer service
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Completed a defensive driving course preferred
Experience driving tactically preferred
A quick learner who retains knowledge of training

Applicants must be 18 years or older and have no criminal convictions that would prevent obtaining a Certificate of Approval (COA) to work in the security industry under the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 2010.
