Are you interested in expanding your knowledge of the law while working on a leading legal research product? We are looking for a Cases Editor to join our agile team on a fixed term contract of 2 years.
Our Cases Editors are instrumental in ensuring that our Westlaw cases products deliver on customers' expectations by ensuring that they are current, relevant, accessible, and accurate.
You will need to have a good understanding of the law, strong online research skills, and possess a high degree of attention to detail.
You will work in a methodical manner, express information clearly and succinctly, and respond appropriately and quickly to changes in product publishing or priorities.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Cases Editor, you will:

Write summaries for a variety of cases.
Classify decisions using our inhouse taxonomy and identify case relationships where relevant.
Update case quantum tracker products with subject-specialist content.
Participate in wider editorial projects and business groups.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Cases Editor if your background includes:

A law degree and knowledge of the NZ legal system.
Excellent communication and research skills.
Ability to interpret, analyse, organise, and communicate complex legal material.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of its importance from a customer perspective.
Ability to adapt quickly and respond positively to change.
