Case Manager - Mt Eden Corrections FacilityAbout this roleThink you have what it takes to play a key part in case management and make a real contribution to reducing re-offending and ensuring public safety?
Mo te tunga | About the role As a Case Manager, you will provide specialist, end-to-end case management of prisoners including the initial assessment and identification of prisoner needs, case planning, and preparing prisoners for release.
You will also be responsible for writing reports to the New Zealand Parole Board.
You will be joining the team at Mt Eden Corrections Facility in the heart of Auckland CBD.
Using a range of services and techniques, you will work with external agencies and the prisoners' families to support their rehabilitation.
Central to your success as a Case Manager is the ability to exercise sound professional judgement, ensuring that prisoner needs and services are appropriately identified and treatment and programmes are well aligned.

Proven knowledge and experience in case management, rehabilitation, and reintegration related disciplines and practicesThe ability to operate safely and effectively within a correctional environmentStrong report writing and administration skillsExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesThe ability to take on feedback in a highly reflective environmentHighly developed relationship management and communication skillsAn ability to motivate and support prisoners to make positive changes over the long-termKnowledge and experience working with Maori and Pacific peoples, their families, and communitiesA tertiary qualification relevant to the role and/or demonstrated career experience in a relevant disciplineA current and full New Zealand or international driver licenceSalary ranges from $68,456 - $88,648.
