Case Manager

The Case Manager is responsible for monitoring the service delivery process to ensure timely Radiologist studies. The role requires the Team Member to manage and administer workflowsfor the radiologists' worklists (queues) and expedite cases through various systems when needed.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Monitor the service delivery process to ensure studies are reported timely by the Radiologist.Assist Radiologist with outreach to ordering physicians.Expedite cases through various systems.Follow up on all unread cases and completion of stat cases.Escalate cases to management and Chief Radiologist that have been pending for more than 24 hours.Monitor Radiologist workload and redirect as needed, to ensure timely reporting.Responsible for outreach to facilities to obtain prior imaging records and reports for timely cross-referencing of exams.Other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:High School graduate or equivalent experience.Knowledge of Excel and Word.Must be highly motivated, productive, accurate, and analytical.Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.Medical terminology familiarity.Physical Requirements:Standard office environment.More than 50% of the time:Sit, stand, and walk.Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs.See, speak, and hear to be able to communicate with patients.Less than 50% of the time:Stoop, kneel, or crawl.Climb and balance.Carry and lift 10-20 pounds.Residents living in CA, NY, Jersey City, NJ, WA and CO click here to view pay range information.Akumin Operating Corp. and its divisions are an equal opportunity employer and we believe in strength through diversity.
