Devon Homes is a design/build company based in Whanganui, New Zealand, that specialises in residential, multi-residential, apartment, age-care, and social housing construction.
We are seeking a Carpenter to join our team in a full-time (40 hour) permanent position based in Whanganui.
Responsibilities: Ability to execute all aspects of residential construction ensuring that all work meets industry standards with minimum supervision.Ability to read and interpret plans and adhere to all specifications detailed within them.Adhere to all safety plans to avoid accidents and injuries Requirements: Have proven (at least 1-2 years) experience as a residential builder/carpenterIdeally have full knowledge of the NZBC, NZ building standards, and NZS3604Must have own toolsStrong attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with our team, clients, and sub-contractorsStrong work ethic and the ability to work independentlyTo apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.
