Come Join our fantastic team!Job DescriptionWork with us and expect:Great PayPermanent EmploymentGuaranteed 30 hours/ weekThe ideal candidate will have:Experience with PVC, Copper and PPR PipesCurrent Site Safe, own transport and toolsNZ qualified Plumbers but also open to Plumbers with overseas qualifications/experience.3 years of Carpentry experience, in New Zealand and/or overseasYou will be responsible for:Plumbing, Pipefitting and InstallationGeneral and Finishing CarpentryCommunication & Planning of work to Project deadlinesHealth & SafetySkill set will include the ability and experience to perform the following tasks with confidence:studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation proceduresordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layoutscutting materials, and assembling and nailing cut and shaped partserecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structuresnailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window framesassembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to installcutting wood jointsmay repair existing fittingsmay work with plastic laminates, perspex and metalsSet out and installation of hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment.Installation of fire hydrants and hose reel systems.Design of sanitary plumbing and water supply systems including residential sprinkler systems.Installing discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures.Fabrication and installation of soil and waste stacks.Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.Installing below ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.Assembling and installing mechanical services machinery, air handling and conditioning equipment and small-bore heating systems.Fabrication and installation of rainwater goods and flashings.Possible installation of roof and wall cladding.Possible installation and maintenance of domestic and commercial appliances and ancillary equipment.Other tasks as required by the Plumbing Supervisor that will aid completion of the plumbing project to deadlines.Apply Now if you fit the above criteria.
