To provide the trade skills, knowledge, experience and competency to undertake carpentry work to comply with the specified requirements of the contract works for the renovation company in a safe and timely manner, and to fill the supervisory role of Foreman as delegated or in absence.  
Job Description Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed. Applicants must have the following as per employer's requirement: 
Applicants must be physically fit. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug test. Applicants must provide a CV.
2 years work experience OR Level 4 qualifications.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL
Be an active member of the site team. Adhere to Company policies and procedures at all times. Carry out all tasks/operations in a tradesman like manner at all times as directed by the Foreman and/or Supervisor. Maintain and respect personal, Company, and Client equipment, property and plant.  TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
Supply and maintain a tool kit consisting of the items outlined in Schedule Four and demonstrate a competency and skill in their use.  PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) 
Personal protection equipment must be worn at all times. The use of PPE will allow the employee to work in all climatic or environmental conditions unless deemed unsafe by Supervisor.  HEALTH & SAFETY
Be responsible for own safety Be aware of the safety requirements of others Comply with all Company safety requirements and procedures Advise of any safety concerns OPERATIONS
Actively participate within a project team to meet the specific project's quality and time requirements. Participate in improvements that enhance product quality within the time envelope and optimise the labour and material resources required. Utilise trade skills, knowledge and experience to complete the works adequately the first time to eliminate any rework requirements.  KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Demonstrate competency in carpentry work. Have previous experience in the Construction Industry Comply with Resource Management Act with regards to noise and use and disposal of chemicals. Maintain clean and tidy work area. Have a tidy appearance and be a good team member. Highly Motivated. Good communication with colleagues and contractors is imperative. Able to work competently unsupervised at times. A suitable Drivers Licence is required to be able to get yourself to and from work sites. You must be willing to work shift work and at times you will be required to stay away for work.
