Are you a dedicated Carpenter looking for a steady opportunity to showcase your skills? Look no further! We're offering a fantastic position with a guaranteed 30 hours per week for the right candidate. (full time role)
About the role:
To provide the trade skills, knowledge, experience, and competency to undertake carpentry work to comply with the specified requirements of the contract works in a safe and timely manner.
We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Demonstrate carpentry competency and familiarity with construction procedures.
Perform various tasks, including site setup, framing, steel tying, concrete work, drywall installation, cladding, Aluminium fabrication window installation, and door hanging.
Ensure precise work at varying heights and levels while maintaining structural alignment.
Proficiently operate tools such as nail guns, skill saws, electric drills, grinders, and drop saws.
Crafting and expertly fitting Aluminium frames for windows.
Precise measurement and marking of glass for accurate cutting.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite following health and safety regulations.
Ability to read plans and specs for material requirements, dimensions, and installation procedures.
Proficiency in erecting frameworks, roof framing, and laying sub-floors and floorboards.
Skill in operating machinery and hand tools for shaping stones, bricks, and timber.
Precision in bricklaying and securing with mortar for wall construction.
Expertise in assembling wood structures for installation.
Adeptness in nailing, sheathing roofs, fitting cladding, and door and window frames.
Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment in structures.
Competence in material selection, layout preparation, cutting, assembly, and nailing.
Proficiency in erecting framework, panel systems, roof framing, sub-flooring, and verification of structural alignment.
Ability to cut wood joints, perform concrete formwork, repair fittings, and work with various materials.

Critical to success in this role will be:

At least 3 years' experience in a carpentry role.
High attention to detail and ability to reach high levels of productivity.
A strong understanding of job sheets and cutting lists.
An excellent work history.
Good level of fitness.
Strong communication skills and people skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Takes pride in your workmanship.
A full Driver's license.
Health and safety champion and can lead by example.
