Role Description: We are currently looking for experienced carpenters for ongoing work around the Northland region. The role will include form work, framing, dry wall fixing, roofing, cladding and more. This is a great opportunity to not only enjoy a change in job, but also work in a great team environment. Health & Safety is a key priority for us, and you will need a good knowledge, understanding and proven application of Health & Safety practices. Salary will be based on experience for this role. About you: Be comfortable with reading plans, blueprints, and sketches. Taking measurements, calculating, and planning material requirements. You will take pride in the quality of your work. You will have a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills. You must have reliable transport. Be flexible as project sites may change. Benefits: Competitive rates of pay Min $29.66 - $33.00 depending on experience. Permanent and full-time role with good working hours with a minimum of 30 hours paid per week. Minimum Requirements: Trade qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience in: Formworks and Framework Shuttering and Pre-Cast Demolition and Finishing Fitouts and reading/implementing plans You will also need: Current Site Safe Building Construction Passport. Elevated Working Platform and Working at Heights tickets. Own tools and reliable transport as well as work references. Ability to pass Pre Employment drug screen. Clean criminal background - Ministry of Justice check applicable. We have a variety of contracts available with some immediate starts.
