Job Description: We are currently seeking skilled Carpenters with expertise in insulated panel installation to join our team. As an Insulated Panel Installation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring the precise and efficient installation of insulated panels in various projects as well as ongoing training and development of our staff and products. Based in Tauranga but National Travel as workload demands.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Construction of off site manufactured building modules utilising traditional and modern methods of construction and on site turnkey installation. Execute the installation of insulated panels according to project specifications and industry standards. Measure, cut, and trim panels to fit specific dimensions and configurations. Install panels using appropriate tools and techniques, including fastening, sealing, and finishing. Conduct quality inspections to verify proper building alignment, structural integrity, and adherence to safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges encountered during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and utilized. Requirements: Proven experience (over 5 years) as a Carpenter with experience in insulated panel installation. Portable building manufacturing experience. Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and fastening devices. Strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and safety regulations. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven commitment to health and safety. Relevant certifications or training in carpentry and insulated panel installation (preferred). Salary: $30 - $40 per hour starting rate.
