Job Description At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents.
To do this, we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care, operate as one team, and strive to do their best.
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more.
Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.
This role is for full time, ongoing employment, working 80 hours per fortnight.
Qualifications Now, we are looking for exceptional Caregivers to join our 'New Plymouth' village.
To be a successful candidate you will: have experience in aged care and or have a qualification relevant to the role.
have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoons and weekends).
Additional Information To recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer many great benefits such as: An enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part of $25.39-$29.95 per hour based on your experience and or qualifications Weekend rates of an additional 40 percent of the hourly rate Time and one half for all work or shifts over 8 hours in a day Health cover (if applicable), social sporting teams, meal allowances, clothing allocation and discounts at a range of suppliers plus much more We offer career progression and support for those looking to develop their skills further in the aged care industry.
Due to NZ Immigration requirements, we are obliged to consider candidates that already have the right to work in NZ for this role first.
