Your passionate experience and kindness to provide first-class care for our residents will see you excel in this role.We have a full-time position working 30 hours per week on offer.Shifts are as follows: Thursday and Friday - AM.
Saturday and Sunday - PM.Duties:Provide resident-directed care and support our residents with activities of daily living.Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse as part of the Care Team.Foster an environment of acceptance and choice.Contribute to and demonstrate knowledge and use of resident-directed Care Plans.Provide support for the family.Skills and Experience Required:Health and Wellbeing certificate preferred.Excellent attitude and demonstrate self-motivation and proactiveness.Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.Empathy and kindness to make a difference in our residents' lives.About usEstablished in 1984, Metlifecare is a leading owner and operator of retirement villages, providing rewarding lifestyles and care to more than 6,500 New Zealanders.
