We value our Caregivers and provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities. We believe in creating a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone can thrive and grow.
Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki. Here's what you'll do on a day-to-day basis:
Be a caring advisor to parents/whanau regarding policies, practices and curriculumChampion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki learningSupport the centre operations at all levelsRepresent and promote BestStart as a great place to be!Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You'll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
This is a permanent part-time position working 20-25 hours per week, between 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday. (This role has the potential to increase in hours depending on occupancy).
