Careers Advisor

We are seeking a careers advisor to join our staff for a part-time, fixed-term position. We are looking for a registered teacher who is energetic, enthusiastic and committed to guiding secondary school aged students into the future. Our ideal applicant will be willing to support students' transition through school life and beyond to tertiary learning, apprenticeships or work, by the provision of career counselling, course and subject choice advice, and career development education.
Your key role will entail:
Continued implementation of career development programme for all students in our school
Managing our Gateway and Trades Academies programmes
STAR and online learning management
Supporting students with future direction decision making
A sound understanding of the NCEA.
