Our rural, co-educational college is seeking a dynamic careers advisor to join our team of educators. You will be joining a school excited about shaping the future of education and need to be innovative and collaborative. You must be dedicated to community engagement.
We are looking for staff who are:
Passionate about learning and embrace technology in their pedagogy
Culturally responsive in delivering effective teaching.
The successful applicant will:
Be committed to guiding our students into the future
Be willing to support students' transition through school life and beyond to tertiary learning, apprenticeships or work by providing career counselling and career development education
Have a sound understanding of NCEA.
Key tasks:
Managing STAR, Gateway and Trades Academy programmes
Continued implementation of career development education
Budget Management.
