We are currently seeking a part-time, Career Pathways (Gateway) Coordinator to join the Careers Department on a fixed term contract for one year (during term time only).
The hours of work are:
Terms 1-3: 30 hours per week x 30 weeks Term 4: 20 hours per week x 10 weeks The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting staff and students (including pastoral support) in the Careers Department with a particular focus on organising and managing work experience placements for Gateway students and completing Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) reporting requirements. On the job training will be provided
Requirements:
Post Secondary Certificate or Diploma in a relevant fieldPrevious experience in an administration or an educational settingA strong sense of calling and willingness to fully commit to the special Christian character, mission, and vision of Bethlehem CollegeStrong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionAbility to work well as part of a teamProficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience in student information systems such as KAMAR desirable (however training will be provided)Full clean driver's licence Remuneration is at Grade 3, Step 5 in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement.
