We are now looking for an experienced Category Manager reporting to our Merchandise Manager in our wider team. Joining the Buying and Merchandising team is the perfect opportunity to gain additional portfolio experience or to step up in your Category career! About the Role | Mo te Turanga As a Category Manager, you will be looking after Grocery Foods portfolios. On a daily basis, you will be negotiating with vendors to develop or procure a product and lead the buying and merchandising processes. Key accountabilities include: Identifying the business's merchandise needs and understanding the buying/selling patterns to provide insight on planning and activities Maintain awareness of product trends, availability and customer preferences Build strong, productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Development of strategic plans including recommendations to changes to drive the success of the category About You | Mou To succeed in this role you'll be highly collaborative, a natural problem solver and commercially driven. You will need to have category management experience to be successful in the role.
