Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are looking for a growth-oriented, proactive Career Development and Employability professional, who will support our students with their career development learning and employability needs - and help them to create their future! Our Career Development and Employability Services (CDES) team take an innovative, student-centred approach to meeting the diverse needs of our tauira / students.  We deliver a wide range of online and in-person support; enabling students to clarify their future direction, connect to employers and gain the confidence to transition successfully into the next stage of their career journeys. This is a varied and rewarding role; you will play a crucial part in empowering and positively influencing tauira / students across the University with diversity in age, background and area of study. You will use your strong relationship management skills to partner with internal stakeholders to support the specific needs of student cohorts. You will also have exciting opportunities to contribute to the creation of online career development learning materials in our learning management system. This role will enable you to broaden your professional practice and career development skills, as part of a strengths-based, values-led team who are committed to continuous learning. This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role on a permanent basis. The salary range is $74,000 – $84,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. Energetic and highly collaborative, you will demonstrate the experience and credibility to help the team deliver new initiatives and flexible career education programmes to students. To be considered for this role, ideally you will: Have at least 3 years' experience in both 1:1 and group support for students in a tertiary setting Be experienced in designing and delivering online materials and support Be able to confidently deliver careers and employability services to diverse audiences in various settings  Have sound knowledge of the employment and graduate markets Be tertiary qualified, preferably with a level 7 career-specific qualification Have highly developed interpersonal, facilitation and organisational skills   Nga ahuatanga kei a matou | What we offer The University of Auckland is New Zealand's leading University and maintains significant computational, laboratory, and analytic facilities.
