We enjoy a team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour and respect across disciplines.
As a Care Manager, you will work a 24/7 rotating roster responding to clients in crisis. This will include overnight on-call and receiving triaged referrals from Whakarongorau Aotearoa, Health NZ Nelson Marlborough Triage Service, and assessment of acute presentations in response to referrals from ED, GPs, and Police.
Shifts are rostered (four days on, two days off over a 6-week cycle), with rostered on-call between 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM.
About You Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.You will be a mental health professional with the confidence to work autonomously and the resilience to manage a mixed case load.You will have current knowledge of mental health and associated issues; addictions clinical experience is also desirable.Whilst we are looking for an experienced practitioner, we also recruit for attitude.Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
