Permanent role - Monday to Friday Work in a tight knit supportive community Enjoy Dargaville's scenic beauty We are seeking a talented and experienced Care Home Manager to join the team in Dargaville. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent business acumen, leadership qualities, and a vision for excellence in aged care services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff to provide high-quality care and support to residents.
Demonstrate strong business acumen to effectively manage budgets, ensure compliance with regulations, and conduct audits.
Develop and implement strategic business plans to enhance the quality of care and maximize occupancy.
Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including residents, their families, regulatory bodies, and community organizations.
Drive occupancy levels through effective marketing strategies and personalized resident care.
Prepare accurate reports on financial performance, occupancy rates, and quality of care indicators. Mentor and develop staff members to ensure the delivery of compassionate and person-centered care.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role within the aged care sector, with a strong track record of success.
Excellent business acumen and the ability to manage budgets, conduct compliance audits, and develop business strategies.
Tertiary qualification in health care management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
A passion for delivering high-quality care to elderly residents and a commitment to maintaining their dignity and independence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff members.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in aged care.
