About Our Role Permanent Full-time Attractive annual salary An opportunity to use your previous managerial experience We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the helm as Care Home & Village Manager at George Manning Lifecare & Village in Spreydon, Christchurch. We are seeking a motivated, resilient, and courageous people leader to be responsible for the overall operation and management of our care home, including the provision of quality care and financial management. You will need to provide effective leadership, commercial acumen, deliver high-quality care, and be great at building relationships with all key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care, promoting their well-being, and ensuring our residents have a better every day. Skills & Experience Demonstrate leadership and management experience, ideally in aged care or with transferable skills from related industries. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building successful relationships. Sound commercial acumen and financial management capabilities, coupled with proficiency in decision-making and problem-solving. Resilient and courageous in handling challenges and fostering a supportive and effective team environment. Experience in implementing best practice and driving continuous improvement, with a passion for excellence and innovation.
