Care Home Activity And Companionship Volunteer

Care Home Activity and Companionship VolunteerVolunteers are needed to bring joy to residents in a Greenlane care home.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to 1 hour every week to assist with activities (e.g.
bingo, happy hour) and provide companionship for residents.
These volunteers should enjoy spending time with older adults, be happy to work in a team, and possess good communication skills.
Requirements:
Most of all, we look for kind-hearted volunteers who are willing to give some of their time to help others.
Volunteers also need to be reliable and confident in interacting with care home residents (with assistance from other volunteers and staff).
Volunteers will be required to complete an online orientation (30 minutes) and in-person orientation (1 hour) before starting.
A Police background check is required for this role.
Time commitment:
1 hour per week.
Volunteer hours are generally one hour between 10am-12pm and 1pm-5pm every day.
